Mother just moved into a home with her daughter after they have been apart for some time. She currently is struggling with her finances and trying to get back on track with her budget. She is working with her team to become stable.

Caregiver with two children under the age of 10 has recently moved into a new apartment in the Bronx. Caregiver is on a very fixed income, mostly receiving public assistance and has been out of work for sometime now due to her ongoing mental health challenges. She needs support with some furniture items for her household in order for her children to thrive and live more comfortably. The caregiver requested a linen closet and closet organizers, however I do not see that on the list of items, but I wanted to notate that here. She would appreciate any help at all.

Dent County has a family of three needing help with some baby items. It is a father, a four month old baby boy, and a two year old little girl. The mother has just recently up and left them and took the babies things with her. Dad is in desperate need of a pack n play or a crib as the baby has nowhere to sleep other than with him. He is currently on his last can of formula, as well.

Hello! I Am Next is a nonprofit that works with youth who have aged out of foster care. We bought our first apartment complex a couple months ago thanks to a large grant we received to house these youth in their own studio apartments to give them a sense of independence. We host a lot of events out of our conference room at this complex. Recently, it has been made aware to me that we are in need of a printer for these youth to use for job related things, school stuff, documents, etc. We were hoping someone could either donate to us a gently used printer or purchase one for our community of youth to use to help further them in their next decisions in life. We had a family of 10 come to us about 2 weeks ago. They had moved here from Arizona with housing lined out and a job. Unfortunatley the housing fell through 2 hours before they got to Oklahoma. They were forced to use the funds they had to live in a hotel. When that money ran out they came to us and we were able to put them up for 2 weeks. During that 2 weeks the father started working and has found a 5 bedroom home locally but doesn't have the full amount for the deposit. They can move in as early as today but are missing that 1200.00. Thank you in advance for your faithfulness!

Two grandparents have been caring for their granddaughter for the last 5 years. Recently grandpa has been struggling with his health. He has been in the hospital for an extended period of time and will require additional time in a skilled nursing facility. He has been unable to work and now grandma, who is not working, is having to figure out how to pay their bills. We are hoping to gather some grocery gift cards to alleviate some of the financial burden they are facing. Grocery stores near them are Safeway, Grocery Outlet, Raley's and Walmart.

The number of youth in CWOP have increased and DFPS has requested assistance with building Busy Boxes for the youth staying in local hotels.

A single mother of three young children (ages 10, 6, and 4) is in urgent need of support. She has been diagnosed with cancer and has undergone multiple surgeries, which caused her to miss numerous days of work. As a result, she has fallen behind financially. Her car was recently repossessed, and she has received an eviction notice for her apartment.

Although she works full-time and receives state assistance for food and medical coverage, she is unable to catch up on her rent and car payments. The stress has also impacted her children’s education, as transportation issues have led to school tardiness, putting their charter school enrollment at risk.

Meeting this $3,000 need will help her recover her vehicle and stabilize her housing situation. It will provide her the ability to continue working, transport her children to school and medical appointments, and keep her family together in their home. Your support will bring much-needed relief and hope to a family in crisis.
