I am working with a family with one child in foster care. The mother is preparing to begin a Trial Home Placement with her child, and is in need of household supplies to ensure the home is babyproofed and ready for her little one. She is in need of a baby gate, babyproof locks (for cabinets, doors, etc.), and outlet/electrical socket covers.

Requesting help for a mom of four, with two little ones who are especially vulnerable, and right now she’s really out of options. She just started a job at Pollo Campero. Her family just helped her with rent, so there's no extra support from them at the moment. She’s currently in need of gas to get her to and from work, help with her light bill, and some groceries. She’s doing her best but is definitely in a tough spot and feeling desperate. This help will help her keep her lights on, the children fed and be able to get to and from work till her next paycheck.

A foster home is needing a bed for their teenage placement. The teen is currently sleeping in a broken bed frame. Helping this family purchase a bed will allow their foster child to live comfortably and feel at home.

We are currently working with a family of three in Payne County. The home consists of a single mother of two girls. The mother has been working on maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for her girls and she is in need of pack and play and a highchair for her baby girl. The mother is working hard to be able to provide for her girls but often struggles due to low income. By providing these items, the mother would be given hope to move forward and feel supported by the community. We appreciate any help you can offer. Thank you!

A grandmother and her 12 yr old grandson have been living in a motel for the past 7 years, following the passing of the grandfather. They took guardianship of their grandson when he was 4 years old due to his parents substance abuse. The grandmother has been working really hard to better their living situation and after all these years they are moving into their own apartment either today or beginning of next week. Her caseworker reached out to us to see if our network would be able to help them with moving their belongings from a storage unit to their apartment. As well as help with obtaining a twin bed and bedding for the grandson (his favorite color is blue and he loves soccer). She is also in need of a bed and bedding. In the words of the caseworker: "It would mean so much for this family to have access to new beds and sheets. I want to highlight how huge of a shift this is because they have shared a small space with limited privacy. He will now have a room to call his own. While this is mind blowing independently - I couldn't image how meaningful it would be for him to see his own bed with his favorite color sheets"

We had a family of 10 come to us about 2 weeks ago. They had moved here from Arizona with housing lined out and a job. Unfortunatley the housing fell through 2 hours before they got to Oklahoma. They were forced to use the funds they had to live in a hotel. When that money ran out they came to us and we were able to put them up for 2 weeks. During that 2 weeks the father started working and has found a 5 bedroom home locally but doesn't have the full amount for the deposit. They can move in as early as today but are missing that 1200.00. Thank you in advance for your faithfulness!

Two grandparents have been caring for their granddaughter for the last 5 years. Recently grandpa has been struggling with his health. He has been in the hospital for an extended period of time and will require additional time in a skilled nursing facility. He has been unable to work and now grandma, who is not working, is having to figure out how to pay their bills. We are hoping to gather some grocery gift cards to alleviate some of the financial burden they are facing. Grocery stores near them are Safeway, Grocery Outlet, Raley's and Walmart.

The number of youth in CWOP have increased and DFPS has requested assistance with building Busy Boxes for the youth staying in local hotels.

A single mother of three young children (ages 10, 6, and 4) is in urgent need of support. She has been diagnosed with cancer and has undergone multiple surgeries, which caused her to miss numerous days of work. As a result, she has fallen behind financially. Her car was recently repossessed, and she has received an eviction notice for her apartment.

Although she works full-time and receives state assistance for food and medical coverage, she is unable to catch up on her rent and car payments. The stress has also impacted her children’s education, as transportation issues have led to school tardiness, putting their charter school enrollment at risk.

Meeting this $3,000 need will help her recover her vehicle and stabilize her housing situation. It will provide her the ability to continue working, transport her children to school and medical appointments, and keep her family together in their home. Your support will bring much-needed relief and hope to a family in crisis.

This young woman is navigating a difficult season. Recently let go from her job, she has moved back in with her mother as her parents go through a divorce. Despite these challenges, she has been actively applying for jobs and is determined to get back on her feet. Currently, she is behind on her car payment and in need of assistance with groceries.
