We have a single mother with five children in her care. The mother's 3-year-old daughter and 9-year-old son with autism are enrolled in summer camp activities; however, the mother lacks the financial resources to pay the fees for her children to participate in the summer camp activities. The mother is proactively working toward financial self-sufficiency through taking classes to earn her GED and searching for gainful employment with interviews scheduled; however, due to unexpected financial burdens, the mother is lacking the funds to cover the cost of camp for her two younger children. The caseworker can meet the donor at a time and location convenient for him/her to collect a gift card or cash, after which point the caseworker will directly pay the provider for the cost of camp.

A young, sixteen year old single mother who is placed with a caregiver is working to have her infant son returned to her care. Her son will be sleeping in a room next to her; we are requesting assistance with obtaining a video baby monitor to allow her to monitor her son. Assisting with this need will allow this very young mother peace of mind while her son sleeps and provide the team the assurance to move the child home to her care.

The biological mother of a child that has been placed in foster care has been evicted from her apartment. While attempting to move out of her apartment and load items into her van, the van got a flat tire. I am requesting $100 for the cost of a new tire. The worst thing that could happen right now is that her van get towed, as it is what she will be living in.

Father is currently struggling financially as a single father of a 5 month old baby girl due to being the only provider. Father has participated in all court ordered services. At this time the father needs a Crib set with mattress and one five drawer dresser. The family’s monthly income is $2,492 expenses are $2,372, leaving family with balance of $120. Providing the family with assistance will ensure that the infant will have appropriate furniture to store her clothes and a safe place to sleep. It is important for infant to have her own bed to receive adequate rest as part of her development and to accomplish her milestones. The infant having her own space to sleep will provide her with appropriate sleep and the dressers will assist father with maintaining infant’s clothes, organization and have appropriate area to store items which will prevent safety hazards. Family will benefit from the support, due to father being the only provider for infant. This will assist father in not feeling overwhelmed with expenses, due to his income, covering rent, utilities and infants needs.

Foster parent recently accepted placement of 8 year old male. He did not come with many belongings and she needed to obtain clothing and other personal items for him. She is requesting a dresser for his clothing to make him feel more at home in her home and a member of their family. If a dresser is not available, she would accept financial assistance to obtain a dresser for him. He is doing well in her home and she wants to do whatever she can to make him feel more welcome.

One of our partners has a mom who is expecting a baby on 7/9/25 who is in need of the following items. Mom is currently struggling financially and lacks family and friends’ support. She is anxious about not having anything for her little bundle of joy. Any help with the above items will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

A single mother had to leave her job due to that organization losing funding and her hours being cut down. The single mother is now working a cleaning business and is a full time student as well to further her education. She hurt her back a couple months ago so she is struggling to work her hours. She currently has 3 of her daughters who are in high school and 3 toddlers/newborns in her house including herself. She is selling some lotion on the side to try to make ends meet. Anything can help.

An elderly woman with serious health conditions in our community is in need of a working electric stove/oven for her home. This can be an older or used appliance as long as it is in good condition and that it works.

Her monthly rent is $1,570.00, and she was able to pay $500.00 for May; however, she has incurred late fees totaling $230.00 and is struggling to cover the remaining $1,300.00 that was due for May.
