This dedicated caregiver is caring for her elder mother who get no financial support, and a little girl of 10 yrs old that was placed with her through DCFS Jan 8th, this little girl has mental health services and educational issues, both of them great Grandma and Grandma are working hard to help her overcome this difficulties and traumas. Unfortunately, Great-grandmother needs eye surgery and has no medical coverage and caregiver needed to cover the expenses and is short to pay all her monthly expenses for this coming month. She needs help with Partial rent which will be $1000.00.

This mother with young children has been without a running vehicle for close to a year. It's a mile walk to the closest gas station, 10 miles to the closest Dollar General, 15 miles to Troy. That's a long distance to carry groceries and manage little ones. Her children are aged 13, 8, 3, and 2.

Her husband has a vehicle that he uses for work at least 12 hours a day during the week (He works 2 AM - 2 PM, but most days is out until 4 or 5 PM, at least.). He does Door Dash on the weekends. When he is home, if he is not sleeping for his next work shift, he drives her in his car.

She is able to drive. When she had a vehicle, before it blew a head gasket and was scrapped for metal, her father paid her auto insurance, and would be wiling to do so again.

Giving this mother a working vehicle would make her able to take better care of her children, because she could drive to the grocery store, to doctor appointments, etc.. She would no longer be at home all day every day with little access to the outside world.

I believe the family would benefit from community support. I have known them since she was pregnant with her youngest. She's not asking for anything new or fancy; in fact, she's not asking for anything. I am trying to connect them with someone to help, because I see a need. If there is a church or individual with a working vehicle they don't need, it could change their lives.

This is a single grandmother raising 2 granddaughters that are with DCFS and do get Basic Rate funding unfortunately with all the resources she needed to use for the ER move she is unable to replace all the 60% of the items she needed to throw away. They recently needed to relocate due to an infestation of Bed Bugs and other bugs in the apartment complex, they had to leave 60% of their items. The items they did take need to go through a deep cleaning and quarantine to insure the bug infestation did not transfer to their new appt they need complet bunk beds and 2 dressers and a sofa bed or futon bed for her the apt is only a 2 bedroom,the 2 girls sleep in one and her son in the other she sleeps in the living room that's why she is requesting a sofa bed or futon so it service as a sitting and sleeping.

Single mom is having a hard time meeting her needs. She has a 14 year old child, and another child who recently and suddenly passed away. She is under extreme stress and is in currently in school. To add to the stress, her home refrigerator broke and all of her food expired. Her landlord is working to fix the refrigerator, but she is in need of food in the meantime. Mom is aware of your services through her church. Mom also states she is in need of an AC unit. Can you please assist with urgent needs?

She works nights because of the overall care and amount or intervention the girls require, she needs to be available through the day.She has a daughter who has children and recently moved in because she separated from her partner she helps supervise the girls at night so her mom can work. But her daughter's hours are inconsistent.They have an outstanding rent Bill $996.00 she is scared she will be evicted if she doesn't pay this bill she lives in a low income house apt for 9 years. When she became a widow and took in the girls they were under the supervision of DCFS so they are considered Foster Care placement. The Husband past away in a car accident and the

Family is being reunited and has a new home. Working on gathering things to make it feel more like a home and help them get back on their feet. Starting with the beds. I have a full size bed for mom, but looking for twin size beds for each of the two boys. Mom has asked for pillows and I would love to find them bedding as well. Boys are into Pokemon and Sonic the Hedgehog but anything blue would work.
