Every child deserves a safe and comfortable place to sleep—especially during visits with a parent they’re working to reconnect with. Right now, we’re helping a teenage boy who visits his mother on weekends as part of their reunification process. While he looks forward to seeing her, he has no bed to sleep on during his stay and ends up spending the night on the floor. A simple queen-size air mattress would give him the rest, comfort, and dignity every young person deserves. Your donation or purchase of an air mattress can make a real difference in helping this teen feel at home, even when home is still being rebuilt. Hello all, I am hoping you can help a very dear family. They are 5 adults and 2 children, living in a household that are looking for rental assistance. The family had to leave a previous location due to being uninhabitable, and the previous landlord did not correct the issues. The family has exhausted other resources by staying with other family members and was even homeless for a day. The family was able to obtain a They were able to find a place to stay, but are in need of deposit for the rental by this Saturday (2 days from now). The deposit is $1500. The family is unable to come up with the deposit due to fixing their vehichle which is their only mean for transportation, allowing them to work. Meeting this immediate need for this family will allow them to maintain shelter.

We have a single mom that is behind on her MLGW bill, she is currently pregnant with a one-year-old and a two-year-old. She has been searching for a job and cannot find any work. She has been on several job interviews but has not gained employment.

The mom is currently not working due to having a baby. She hasn't been able to work since having the baby. Dad currently is working on and off jobs and at the moment they do not have income and family is helping. Mom stated she went to food stamps and applied,but she is currently waiting for the application to be processed. The family is needing help with groceries and baby items.

A single mother of two is currently in need of kitchen shelving and two dressers for her children. These items would make a significant difference in their daily lives. With proper shelving in the kitchen, she would be able to organize food and cooking essentials more efficiently, creating a safer and more functional space for her family. The dressers would give her children a place to store their clothes and belongings, helping them feel more settled and at home. This support would mean so much to this family, providing not just furniture, but also a sense of stability and comfort during a challenging time.

After 25 years of faithfully serving students and teachers in Orange County, one of our longtime Saddleback Church members is now facing the heartbreaking reality of potential homelessness. She is a compassionate, devoted college professor and mentor with a clear anointing on her life. Due to a sharp decline in student teacher enrollment, her income has been drastically reduced. Yesterday, she received a 3-day pay-or-quit notice and urgently needs $900 in rental assistance to avoid becoming homeless by this Friday. Next month she will begin receiving income from new jobs and expects to cover her rent going forward. However, she needs support to make it through May. She is single woman who lost her only child years ago; she has no family to turn to only her church family. With a Doctorate and Master’s in Education and a BS in Mathematics, she has dedicated her life to mentoring future teachers and guiding students in challenging STEM subjects. Her mission has always been to help students discover their God-given talents and pursue meaningful careers. Since 2012, she has also served faithfully in several Saddleback ministries. As National Teacher Appreciation Week comes to a close, let’s show support and gratitude to this sister in Christ who has poured so much into others. A church member has a college student, at New River Community College, in a class that is currently homeless along with his father. His father broke both his arms in a work accident due to faulty equipment. Since he is unable to work and the company has put a hold on workers compensation until July they are in need of assistance. The father is unable to work at least until he has surgery on both arms. Their current needs are food and gas for him to get back and forth to work and school. They have temporary housing with family but will need assistance with this need in the near future. If you can help or have any questions you can reach out to Austin Phillips.

The school has been working with a mom who was reunified with her children about a year ago. As a single parent she has needed extra support in keeping up with all of her kiddos and their needs. They've recently been accepted to move into a more affordable home at the beginning of June but they had to move out of their current place earlier than that. They are in need of a hotel room to hold them over until their rental is ready for move in. (The landlords are actually from MP!) The hotel is $84/night and we are hoping to cover 5 nights. There are several other churches claiming other nights as well!

We have a beautiful new family that arrived last week from Afghanistan. They came with nothing and currently the government funding is not available. we have helped the family secure housing and most of the furniture needed. they hopefully will move into the apartment in the next few days.

I am advocating for a mom of 2 who has had a stroke paralyzing her left side. While ordering a wheelchair for her, we discovered she is sleeping on a mattress on the floor. This mom has had three back surgeries and needs her bed high enough to be comfortably transferred in and out of bed and to be able to rest well. She is very humble and grateful for any help she may receive.
