The caregiver described that she is working diligently to ensure that the children can adjust to this change and have a stable home environment. The caregiver indicated that she needs twin bunk beds for her grandchildren. The caregiver reported that at this time, she is currently experiencing financial hardship despite having employment.

A relative home placement is in need of a tall dresser for her 15-year-old nephew. This will help the child keep his clean clothes folded and put away in his own drawer. He shares a bedroom with his younger cousin.

A hardworking single father of three is in urgent need of $700 to cover a housing deposit. After spending the past five months couch surfing, he has finally secured a stable home for his family. Unfortunately, a recent wage garnishment has left him unable to afford the full move-in costs. Understanding his situation, the landlord has graciously allowed him to move in early and is working with him on the remaining balance. Any support to help him cover this deposit would go a long way in providing a safe and stable home for his children.

The caregiver has recently become the guardian of her great-nephew due to the death of his father, and his mother is unable to care for him at this time. I am working with a single mother who has 5 children. 1 infant and 4 older children between the ages of 6 years and 13 years. Mother is a single working mother who is trying to provide for her family. The four older children are sleeping on 2 twin size mattresses on the floor in the same room. The family makes it work but the situation is far from ideal. We are hoping to find support in securing two sets of bunk beds to help this family create a better living environment. A proper bed for each child would not only improve the children's sleep but also give them them their own space in the home. Thank you!

As you may be aware, Dave Petke is in the hospital with a UTI and blood pressure problems. Sharon is not able to be at the hospital all the time, it wears her out and her health is not good enough for her to be there with him all the time. She’s tried just calling to check in, this morning she sat on hold for 45 minutes and had to call back three times before she finally got someone to answer. Someone is needed this week to sit with Dave each day between the hours of 8am-12pm to give Sharon time to get ready and get over there each day to be with him. I am working with a awesome, hard working Single mom that does amazing work helping others in the community is now facing some hardships. She and her family attended, participated wholeheartedly and graduated from our 14-week Strengthening Family Program and has been an outspoken advocate for family wellness. She was recently put in a very hard situation and received news that her landlord is selling her home expectantly, and she was put in a time crunch and after searching and searching for a new place she found one and has to come up with a deposit of $1000 to hold the unit. After talking with the new homeowner, he stated she could allow her to pay $500 by Monday 6/9/25 and the other $500 by Friday 6/13/25. If you can help, please be a blessing to this mom, please, she has helped so many families in her line of work, and she has just paid her rent where she is currently living and does not have the money for her deposit. One of our newly arrived families has moved into apartments that have no air conditioning and the family has no fans. We all know how hot it gets and the adults and the children can get overheated. I am reaching out on behalf of one of our Children’s Church students who is currently in foster care. Her mother has recently secured employment and is in the process of transitioning to a new home. While this is a positive step forward for their family, it has also placed a significant financial strain on them. Due to these circumstances, the family is unable to afford the registration fee for summer camp. However, we strongly believe that this child would greatly benefit from the experience—emotionally, socially, and spiritually. Camp would provide her with a safe, uplifting environment and a chance to grow in confidence and faith during a time of major life change.
