However, the mother is asking for any assistance that can be given in the amount of $800 as she has already raised half the amount. Unemployed single mom of 5 children ages ranging from 5 months-18 years old, is going through a financial hardship. Her EBT card was recently stolen and she is using the limited funds she has at the moment on groceries to feed her children. The family is living in a very high-crime area where they are sometimes afraid to leave their apartment. This family is in need of groceries, cleaning items and baby items. The mother is requesting diapers and wipes for her newborn, baby laundry detergent, cleaning supplies and plastic portable storage drawers from Target.

Family received previous help from the care portal in preventing homelessness. The department is working with the family in finding a solution and a solution with subsidized housing has been found but due to an unexpected complication, the family can't move into their housing for two weeks. The family is in need for another week in a hotel until the complication can be resolved. The family previously stayed at the Sunrise Extended Stay in Searcy, AR.

A single mom is in need of assistance, children aged 10, 6 and 2, with cleaning the environment of her home. Due to recent hardship, they are struggling to maintain a clean and safe living environment.

Any assistance with cleaning supplies, volunteer time, or professional cleaning services would make a meaningful difference for this family’s well-being and comfort.

A child who is 6 years old visits parent for overnights once a week and every other weekend. Parent wants to pursue increased time with child. Child does not have a bed in the home and sleeps on the living room furniture. Fulfilling this request would give the child a bed in the home and improve their stability/ well-being at the Parent's home.

A local family in need has been identified by our church. She lost her job and is trying to sell her house because otherwise she is going to lose it. This is one of those situations where circumstances have snowballed into a big mess. She's trying to get back on her feet, but the burden is heavy and discouraging. She needs a hand up. They have food for today and tomorrow. We would like to offer assistance with alleviating some of the bills that are piling up and helping the family to secure quality food options.

We are seeking the funds to pay their electricity bill so that the power can remain on, the phone bill so that she can maintain contact with their realtor as they try to sell the house, and funds for a grocery gift card.

This would meet a huge need for this mom and child and serve the foster family as well.
