We have a single expectant client who is in need of a new infant/convertible car seat. She is due in July and will need the car seat to be able to bring her baby home from the hospital.

A grandmother of two young children recently upgraded their beds from two small beds to a twin bunk bed. However, she now needs a mattress for the bottom bunk of the bunk bed. Please help this hard-working grandma provide for her grandbabies by blessing her with a mattress for this bunk bed.

In an effort to make her home more comfortable for a child, placement for a 16-year-old girl bought two air purifiers to help with the child's pet allergies. Placement would like to be reimbursed for the purchase.

A family that lives out in the country in Niangua in an older single-wide trailer is having issues with roaches and ants. They also do not have air conditioning in the home and it gets quite hot in the summer months. One of the children is already on trial home visit and the other child will possibly be starting trial home visit at the end of July. Both parents work, however having to pay for an exterminator would be a hardship and paying for window units would also be a hardship. They are currently using all extra funs to get their other vehicle up and running that they need for work and to get the children to/from visits. Providing an exterminator and window AC units would provide a better quality of living for the children in the home and they would have a better chance of being able to reunify with the parents.

Hello, I have a young single mother on my caseload with a 1 yr. old. When my client was 19 yrs. old, she was shot in the back of the head by an ex-boyfriend and had to learn to walk and talk again. Due to the accident, my client suffers from seizures during stressful situations. My client's mother had been residing with her helping her out, but recently moved out and took household items my client had to restore. My client is on a limited budget and has fallen behind in rent. Any rental assistance would be a big help for my client. Thank you for your consideration!

V is a mom and grandma working hard to care for her two children and one grandson. She fell behind on her electric bill due to an illness and missing work and now it's shut off. They were able to stay last night at a friend's house but that's not feasible to do again. Any amount helps to stabilize this family and help prevent the need for foster care!

one of our church members car was repossessed this weekend after already having been charged off months ago. they are requesting help with the amount of $5,000. This is the amount we were behind in payments, plus the fees to get it out of the impound lot.

A single mom is working hard to make ends meet and just recently got a job. She is trying to provide the best she can for her kids. Since not having steady income she has fallen short on getting things that are needed. She could use some help with diapers for one of the kids. If you are able to help please let me know.

There is a 30-ish year-old young man living at apartments in Castle Rock. He is paralyzed from the chest down and in a wheelchair. He was granted special permission to be at these apartments even though he doesn't qualify due to his age. He receives food from Help & Hope on a monthly basis when they visit him. His family lives in Elizabeth and has even less money than this young man. It is noted that sometimes he will give his money to his mom/dad so they can eat.

Help & Hope has been going to this gentleman's apartment on Wednesdays when they deliver food to him, and have been making his bed and doing light chores for him.

Looking for a weekly/monthly volunteer(s) who would like to visit this young man and assist with light chores?
