The caregiver has had the children since they entered the system. The caregiver is currently not receiving any funding. The caregiver has provided a caring, stable placement for the children. The caregiver has been working overtime to help meet the needs of the children until she is able to receive funding. The caregiver recently moved into a new home and realized the children’s bedroom was smaller than expected, so the children are currently cramped in the room with a twin bed and a toddler bed. The caregiver is requesting a bunk bed so the room can be more sufficient for the children. Since the children are young, they also would need mattress protectors.

This family is in need of at least one, preferably 2, window air conditioning units. Their home does not have central AC and with the rising summer temperatures, it is becoming a hazard for the children. One of the children has asthma and the high temps are hard on his body. The family has tried reaching out to other community resources with no luck.

Resource Linkage is working with a single mother with a young daughter. The mother is afraid she is going to be evicted from her home, her hours have been severely reduced and she is not bringing home enough money to make ends meet. The rent is almost 2 months past due. The mother does not speak English and is being linked to community resources for Hispanic families, any help is appreciated.

My client is a mom of 3 and is trying desparately to find a job. She has some benefits to help her provide food and insurance for her children, but outside of that she is not able to provide other needs. Her 9 month old is starting to want to use his legs more and more. Mom is needing some type of baby walker or bounce swing she can use to have him begin strengthening his legs and development. She is also in need of 4T Summer clothing for her daughter. I was able to help with clothing for the boys, but we were low on items for little girl sizes.

Lastly, she has a small space, but would love some type of kids table to have her kids have a routine of sitting for meals not in front of the TV. Her two oldest are starting to get ready for school and she would love to have a space for them to do development and learning activities.

My client lives in an upstairs 2 bedroom duplex with her 4 children. She recently aquired 50/50 custody of her other two children a couple of months ago. She is excited to have them as part of her home, but it has made things more crowded. She is hoping to find a new place to live late fall when her lease is up, but in the meantime she is doing what she can to provide space for all of her kids. With Summer officially heating up, she is desparate. Her unit is small and lacks airflow. She has no fans or AC Unit to help give them some relief with the heat and humidity. She recently left her job and is working with me to access a resource called Hope Gains to help her find a new job that will work with her mental health needs. But in the meantime, she has no form of income. She is getting foodstamps and is hopeful she can find a new job soon.

With that being said, it would be super helpful to try and get some fans for her home. She would need a total of 3 box fans that are gently used or even new if possible. However, if a couple of used A.C. window Units are available she would love to be able to utilize this as it would be the most effective.

Hey BC fam! We have a foster family in our church that has welcomed newborn twins into their home and is in urgent need of formula support. The babies consume one $40 can per day. Single mom with two children facing eviction if she doesn't get help with her rent. Children out of school, and challenges with child care, caused her to miss work. She only has half of her rent. She needs to help with $600 which is the the other half of the rent and late charges. The children will be going to summer camp in July allowing mom to get back to her normal working hours.

Hey team, we have a family in our church that serves as a foster family. The birth mom for the child is in need of a convertible car seat so they can have the child for visitation. This would meet a huge need for this mom and child and serve the foster family as well. A single mom with an 8-month-old is living with her mother and does not have a bed for herself. She needs a full or queen-size bed (frame, mattress, and box springs) plus bedding. A small floor fan (not a ceiling fan) is also needed for the bedroom. This mom is part of the Napier community that Harpeth Hills serves.

Newly arrived Special Immigrant Visa holder family of 7 who fled from Afghanistan (US allies) is needing a bunkbed for 4 daughters to settle into a single bedroom in their 2 BR-1BA apartment this week.

Unfortunately, due to limited space in bedroom (needing to fit 2 sets of bunk beds), twin bunk beds will fit better than full bunk beds, so probably not flexible on that aspect of this request.

Depending on the bunk bed frame that you donate, we may or may not need box springs, so I didn't add those explicitly to this request.
