The caregiver and her family are requesting assistance to cover the rest of her rental payment for this month. The caregiver received the placement of her nephew in February, however, has been struggling with his behavior at school which has caused her to miss out on work. The child has been kicked out from several daycares due to his behaviors, and the caregiver has had to miss work to pick him up and stay with him during the day. The child has a history of trauma which they are working through in therapy and with medications. The caregiver and the team are looking for services for the child to manage their behavior. The caregiver wants to keep the placement of her nephew but needs extra help due to the circumstances. The caregiver is currently receiving funding; however, it does not cover her total rent. The case manager was able to get funding for the child to attend a summer program, which would allow the caregiver to work fulltime without interruptions. The caregiver will be able to cover her future rent payments once the child is in summer care.

Toddler girl was originally placed in foster care in March; she is now changing placement to be with family. In order for the child to feel comfortable the caregiver is asking for a little help with 3t girls' clothes, 3t diapers and size 6 shoes. In addition, the caregiver would like a safe place for this little one to sleep so she is requesting help with a toddler bed and mattress. The family is in need of assistance with transporting their three children, ages four, three and eight months from daycare to their home in the evenings. The family's car broke down and will not be repaired until mid-July. The parents are able to borrow a family member's car to get back and forth to work but now they are unable to pick the children up on time since they are sharing a single car. The children will need to be picked up from Kids Cottage Daycare (three-year-old and eight-month-old attend the little kids center and the four-year-old attends the big kid center) and transported to their home off of Dahlgren Rd. 3 hrs per week needed

On 2/21/2024. Court will order and allow the child to be cremated. DCFS to make best efforts to pay for the cremation of the child.

DCFS Policy for Burial is only for Foster Care Providers only NOT parents and the fees have to be paid upfront, and forms submitted to be reimbursed. CSW reached out to the person who sent the Morgue Release Letter via email, with the Notifications Section LAC Medical Examiner-Coroner's Office. This CSW asked for the Health Department and County Morgue Tax ID numbers. This CSW was provided with a flyer on how to obtain the ashes. Obtain the Health Permit first. Can obtain the Death Certificate at the same time. Once fee is paid present permit obtained to the Medical Center and pay the Cremation fee. Once fee is paid, will provide the driving directions to the Los Angeles County Crematory/Cemetery. CSW informed that the County Morgue and Health Department do not have Tax Id's and therefore would not be able to submit for funding and no other funding available. Person would have to pay the fees upfront and get reimbursed. The Department is trying to assist Ms. Moore with obtaining Royal ashes however, there does not appear to be any funding available for this situation. Trying to obtain to obtain the ashes of the child, Royal Terry who passed away on 12/23/2023 from the LA County Morgue on behalf of Mother. Health Permit is $11.00 dollars. Death Certificate $24. dollars. Cremation $352.00 dollars. Total of $387.00 dollars.

A devoted mother works tirelessly to rebuild her life after being reunited with her three children. She is overcoming financial hardships while staying committed to the safety of her children, completing required programs, maintaining stable employment, and keeping her home ready for her children. As part of her progress, her younger children now have been returned to her home, but the home lacks essential furniture to sit and sleep comfortably. A family with two children recently took in two dogs from their sister. The dogs almost had their sister evicted from her apartment, and now they are faced a similar dilemma. If they don't find a home for the dogs, they could be evicted. The family is looking for a home for the two dogs. They searched rescue sites and no kill shelters but hasn't received any help or support. Please help support this family by either taking in the dogs or by spreading the word.

Hello! Church, we have an opportunity to come alongside a single mom who is a member at Wildwood & help support her as she cares for the older bio siblings (brothers ages 9 & 12) of her adopted son. The brothers are still in foster care and need care for a period of 10 days in July. To say yes, the single mom needs childcare for the boys while she is at work. There are openings at a local day camp for both boys. The cost for 7 days of camp for both boys is $700. Please keep this family in your prayers - pray specifically for the time the three brothers will have together. One of our very own families, who faithfully serves every weekend, is currently facing a difficult season. They are in need of support with rent and groceries this month to get back on track and not fall behind.

Earlier this year, we had the opportunity to serve two families in our community. While our assistance was very much appreciated, it does not alleviate the on-going need for these families. Both families have young children who are home during the summer months. To ensure that they have access to hot meals during the summer while they are out of school, Heartland is initiating a request to provide food gift cards to each family throughout the duration of the summer.

A father at Point Church has recently regained custody of his three children and could use some clothing items for them. He is in need of a few shirts, a few pairs of shorts, a pair of pajamas, a few pairs of socks and underwear, and a pair of shoes for his 5-year-old daughter (clothing size 5-6, shoe size 11-13), 7-year-old daughter (clothing size 8-10, underwear size 10-12, shoe size 12-13), and 10-year-old son (clothing size 14, shoe size 5). Secondhand clothing in good condition is fine. It would be a blessing for them to have these items by July 11.
