A single mother of four children is currently requesting a refrigerator for her household. She is raising her children alone, ages 7 to 15, and currently does not have stable employment. The mother occasionally volunteers in the community and makes money babysitting, but her income is not enough to afford a refrigerator. Her current refrigerator is old and has been working barely, but there is concern that it will break down soon, as it is leaking. It would be helpful for the family to receive a refrigerator, as it is a basic necessity for the children to get the nutrition needed to stay healthy.

A 17 year old girl recently moved into a new foster home and is sharing a room with a infant. She has little closet space and is needing a 6-9 Square Cubic organizer with the 6-9 fabric cubes so she can has dresser space.

She is also starting collage soon and would like a desk to be able to sit at to do her homework rather than sitting in the kitchen where she cannot focus alone. I entered Kitchen table because table was not an option but just a desk with desk chair is what she is needing!!!

Male child age 5 Mom is in need of her phone bill paid. Helping meet this need will provide opportunities for Mom to engage in services and aid in reunification with her child. Mom was recently evicted from her home and is exploring sober living and is egger to engage in services. Having a phone will aid in the opportunity to progress in treatment services, attend family time, explore safe/stable housing and employment. The total price will cover June and July phone payments allowing Mom substantial time to make significant progress.

This request is being submitted on behalf of a Hope Florida participant. The participant is a mother of two children. This family is currently experiencing homelessness. They have no stable place to stay, and their only option right now is sleeping in a hot car or on the streets. This situation is extremely unsafe. This family is experiencing an extremely difficult situation, especially the children. This mom is deeply concerned about the safety and health of her children due to the hot temperatures currently in South Florida. Please help this family have a clean, cool and safe place to sleep and rest. A safe place to sleep will help this family rest and recoup as they work toward finding stable housing. With your help they can avoid the dangers and hardships of living unsheltered and focus on rebuilding their lives. Thank you for your kindness and support which will help improve this family's living situation. They are asking for your help with a $500 hotel voucher.

A family of 3 (mom and two kids) have recently moved into a stable home after being homeless for the past 7 months. Due to being homeless, they are in need of furnishing their place with essential items such as furniture and toiletries. I have listed out a few things that come to mind that could help support this family, but are open to other items if available. Kitchen items: pots/pans, silverware, plates and cups. Living room items: lamps and couches. Bedroom items: beds, dresser, and nightstands. Bathroom: towels, washcloths, soap, and toiletries.

A family with two children recently took in two dogs from their sister. The dogs almost had their sister evicted from her apartment, and now they are faced a similar dilemma. If they don't find a home for the dogs, they could be evicted. The family is looking for a home for the two dogs. They searched rescue sites and no kill shelters but hasn't received any help or support. Please help support this family by either taking in the dogs or by spreading the word.

Hello! Church, we have an opportunity to come alongside a single mom who is a member at Wildwood & help support her as she cares for the older bio siblings (brothers ages 9 & 12) of her adopted son. The brothers are still in foster care and need care for a period of 10 days in July. To say yes, the single mom needs childcare for the boys while she is at work. There are openings at a local day camp for both boys. The cost for 7 days of camp for both boys is $700. Please keep this family in your prayers - pray specifically for the time the three brothers will have together. One of our very own families, who faithfully serves every weekend, is currently facing a difficult season. They are in need of support with rent and groceries this month to get back on track and not fall behind.

Earlier this year, we had the opportunity to serve two families in our community. While our assistance was very much appreciated, it does not alleviate the on-going need for these families. Both families have young children who are home during the summer months. To ensure that they have access to hot meals during the summer while they are out of school, Heartland is initiating a request to provide food gift cards to each family throughout the duration of the summer.

A father at Point Church has recently regained custody of his three children and could use some clothing items for them. He is in need of a few shirts, a few pairs of shorts, a pair of pajamas, a few pairs of socks and underwear, and a pair of shoes for his 5-year-old daughter (clothing size 5-6, shoe size 11-13), 7-year-old daughter (clothing size 8-10, underwear size 10-12, shoe size 12-13), and 10-year-old son (clothing size 14, shoe size 5). Secondhand clothing in good condition is fine. It would be a blessing for them to have these items by July 11.
