A family is in need of support. Grandma has taken over the care of her 4 grandchildren, aged, 11, 7, 6 and 4. In order to support their needs, grandma is requesting some basic clothing items for the children as well as basic hygiene items, and laundry soap.

Hygiene products such as:

• shampoo & conditioner
• body soap
• deodorant

11 year old boy -- size 12 pants and shirts, undergarments, socks 7 year old boy -- size 10 pants, size 8 shirts, undergarments, socks 6 year old boy -- size 8 pants and shirts, undergarments, socks 4 year old girl -- size 5 shirts and pants, kid size 12 shoes, undergarments and socks

A local grandmother has recently gotten custody of five of her granddaughters. One granddaughter was already living with her. The six children range in age from 6 months to 16 years old. The mother of the children is no longer in the picture. DCF is assisting with the placement, but the grandmother is not yet receiving financial assistance. The family was able to obtain beds, mattresses, and cribs. However, they are in need of sheet sets, blankets, and clothing. The following items are needed for the FEMALE children: (3) sets of twin bedding sets, (2) crib sheets, size 12 months clothing, size 2T clothing, size 4T clothing, size 5T or 5/6 clothing, size 10/12 youth shirts and pants, size 8 juniors/ladies pants, size medium juniors/ladies shirts, size 7 toddler shoes, size 11 kids shoes, size 13 kids shoes, size 5 ladies shoes, size 9 ladies shoes. A single mother her 6 year old son, 8 year old daughter, and 12 year old daughter are in need of donations of grocery gift cards from King Soopers or Walmart. We are requesting $300 in giftcard form to help secure groceries and other needs for this family.

A mother and father and their 5 year old son are in need of a donation of a queen or double bedframe and mattress. The parents currently sleep on the ground with several mattress pads, but are hoping to upgrade. A donation of a used bed or new purchased bed would be life changing for this family.

A 12 year old sixth grade boy is currently at a kindergarten level academically due to never starting school until this year, full time. He needs lots of tutoring, but that comes with many expenses. The bill for tutoring this month is $1125. Any donated contribution to that bill would be helpful for this child, his 1 year old brother, and his grandparents who he lives with.

A mother in San Francisco has recently begun her trial reunification with her three boys. She has worked really hard to get her boys back, but has very low income. Our hope is that with some tangible support, to ease some of the financial burdens, this reunification will be successful and they can begin to move forward from their time apart.

All three boys love the colors red, white, and black. Gently used items in good condition are welcomed.

A family recently arrived from Africa fleeing their war-torn community. Dad, mom (who was pregnant with twins), and 3 children (ages 11, 9 and 6) travelled 2,500 miles, a good portion of it on foot, praying that they would be able to stay together and would be safe. The family was given refugee status and brought to America. They are in an apartment and do not know the language yet. Dad and mom are trying to set up a new home with their 5 children and have received assistance from His Helping Hands for furniture.

A Pathway member has met some of their other needs as she walks with them and one of their twins who has special needs.

Their current, most immediate needs are for a double stroller for the twins and preemie diapers. Thank you for supporting this family.

A single mom with 5 children (age ranges of 2 to 13) is struggling and could really use some support. She has had heartache after heartache over the past few years. The children's father is unable to work and be in the household due to mental illness and prior to all of this she was a stay at home mom. She has been actively trying to find work but the cost of child care has made it nearly impossible for her to do this. The primary vehicle is a large suburban which is expensive to fill up-a gas card would help with this as well as a gift card to Walmart to help with groceries and other essentials. If anyone knows of a legitimate work from home job, a job that would allow a mom to bring children or affordable child care near Valley Center or Park City, please reach out in the comments.

A mother who recently left an abusive marriage is needing help with moving from a house to a two-bedroom apartment where she and her 11-year-old son will be starting their new life. She needs help moving on Saturday, April 12. She has already rented the U-Haul and really needs help with the muscle! Everything is on the ground level and there are no appliances needing to be moved. The bigger items being moved will be 2 couches, end tables, TV stand, TV, mattresses, dining room table and boxes. The move will start on Saturday at 10:00 am. Our mother and son attend Westlink campus.

Can we have 6 people come along side this single mother to help her with her move? If you can help, please 'provide' assistance. We'll then reach out to get you connected with the family.

A mom has recently, courageously, left an abusive marriage with her 10 year old son. She has secured employment and has found a small apartment to start over. Mom and her son had to leave everything behind so are starting over to furnish their new home. She already has beds and a dresser, and someone has helped provide needed items for her bathroom.

This family still needs a couch, small kitchen table with 2 chairs, broom with dustpan, Swiffer wet mop, small vacuum for laminate flooring, pizza cutter and other kitchen utensils, dish drainer, spices, a coffee table and small bookshelf.

Mom is walking with a friend and Pathway member back to a healthy environment for her and her son.
