There is a child in a kinship placement. The relative that is caring for the child, is required to complete trainings regarding the placement. The family is in need of a computer, in order get the trainings completed in a timely manner. Due to finances, the family is unable to pay for a computer at this time. By assisting this family with a computer or tablet, it will allow the family to remain united and secure the relative caring for the child to complete all tasks needed for the trainings required for the family.

We have a single grandmother fostering SIX of her grandchildren! Grandmother has been very determined to keep the siblings together and utilizes every resource to get them everything they need. Grandmother recently moved into a larger place to be able to accommodate all six of the children. Grandmother has had to use laundry mats as she no longer has access to a laundry facility from her old apartment. Six children equal a lot of clothing to be washed, and grandmother could desperately use a washer and dryer. Immediate need for transportation of 16 year old youth to basketball practice for the summer as he recently was placed in a foster home that has conflicts with foster parent's work schedule. Foster parent is requesting assistance for transport via a LYFT card to facilitate the youth retaining existing relationships with coach and teammates for his well being. It is about a 30 minute ride. He has practice 5 days a week. It would be approximately $120 a week/$24 a day during the summer months. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

We have grandparents on the road to adoption of their sweet grandson. The grandparents recently received a shelf to put in grandson’s room but need assistance with assembling it. We have a great grandmother fostering the two sweetest great granddaughters. Grandmother lives on a fixed income and the girls coming into her home was very unexpected. Grandmother is not receiving a stipend until July and has no transportation. She has now used all her savings to get the girls clothes, diapers, formula, etc. Grandmother is behind on rent and facing eviction if she cannot come up with the money. We are hoping for a miracle to help this sweet woman and these two beautiful girls. They are so happy with their great grandmother, and we would love to be able to keep them with her. This household has endured some much hardships they were displaced not too long ago. Through determination and resilience, they managed to rebuild their lives, secure a new home, and finally regain stability. Just as they began to turn things around, their car unexpectedly broke down at a store, putting them at risk of losing their only means of transportation. The day they finally were able to find someone to tow the car off the store property it was impounded, adding another devastating obstacle to their recovery. Without the funds to retrieve their car from impound, this family faces devastating consequences. Their vehicle is not just transportation, it's their lifeline to work, a crucial source of supplemental income, and their means to afford rent and essential utilities. Losing it would jeopardize their stability and well-being. This small act of support could make all the difference, ensuring they don’t lose their vehicle and can continue moving forward. Any emergency assistance, no matter how small, would be an incredible relief in a time of great need.

14-year-old foster child is placed in non-relative Kinship Placement. Family is urgently needing a gently used full size refrigerator (60 inches tall and 48 inches wide) as theirs went out this week and they cannot afford one themselves. Family struggles financially and is currently using a mini fridge in the meantime that does not have adequate space. Both foster family and agency would appreciate the help in securing this foster home a new refrigerator to maintain placement. Any help you can give will be appreciated!

I’m reaching out with an urgent request to support a mother who is working hard to rebuild her life. After successfully getting back on her feet and maintaining sobriety, she recently encountered a major setback—she lost her job unexpectedly. She is actively seeking new employment and applying to several opportunities, but her rent for her sober living program is due this Friday, June 13th, and she is currently unable to cover the cost. Without assistance, she risks losing the stable and supportive housing that has been a critical part of her recovery journey. We are asking for any financial support you may be able to provide to help her cover this rent payment and stay on the path she’s worked so hard to stay on.

I am working with a awesome, hard working Single mom that does amazing work helping others in the community is now facing some hardships. She and her family attended, participated wholeheartedly and graduated from our 14-week Strengthening Family Program and has been an outspoken advocate for family wellness. She was recently put in a very hard situation and received news that her landlord is selling her home expectantly, and she was put in a time crunch and after searching and searching for a new place she found one and has to come up with a deposit of $1000 to hold the unit. After talking with the new homeowner, he stated she could allow her to pay $500 by Monday 6/9/25 and the other $500 by Friday 6/13/25. If you can help, please be a blessing to this mom, please, she has helped so many families in her line of work, and she has just paid her rent where she is currently living and does not have the money for her deposit. If you could please help her so she and her children are not put out on the street, and can move into their new home. Anything you can donate would be a great help. Thank you!

This is a request for small dining room set for a family in trial reunification. The children are ages 5,3, & 2 and they have been in trial reunification with their mother and grandfather for just over a month. The home is fully furnished, with the exception of a kitchen table. The family advised they are limited on resources right now (after recently moving into this house and furnishing all the rooms) that a kitchen table has been the last priority for them. We are looking for a basic new or gently used dining room met. The breakfast nook is not very large, so a small table (circular or rectangular) with 4 chairs will fit the space nicely. We appreciate you considering this request. We'd like the family to have a designated space where they can share meals. We are also looking for a gently used highchair for the 2-year-old. God Bless!

A hardworking father has made lots of progress toward reunifying with his three children, which are currently in his care and they are so close to being officially reunified with the case successfully closed. The father unfortunately lost his employment was able to quickly find new employment but is in need of some tools to begin his new opportunity. The father needs a screw gun, hammer, speed square, torpedo level, box knife, and tape measure. This parent has overcome numerous barriers and has almost reached the point of full self sufficiency for his family. Please help him overcome this new barrier with helping him to obtain some tools for his new job. The three children have also begun child care now that school is out, and there are activities at the child care center that require an extra fee of $20 per child to participate in activities at their child care.
