Mother is currently staying with family and trying to get a place of her own. She has her, and her kids' possessions in a storage unit. Mother has medical issues and had to leave previous home due to an unsafe relationship. She is working and hopes to have a place of her own soon. She requested assistance for her costs associated with her storage unit. She pays around $50 a month and currently has a balance of $92. Mother has kids age 13 and 11 years old.

Mother is trying to get back on her feet and has had setbacks and recently lost her car. She has medical needs/appointments and needs a bus pass to get to and from appointments and work also. She gets some help from family, but a bus pass would be more reliable. We're requesting 6 monthly bus passes, as that's how they're sold. They're not dated, but activated upon use and good for 31 days. They can be purchased at HEB business centers or at VIA sales desks. Mother has two kids ages 13 and 11. She is staying with family and her first priority is getting her own place again, and then she'll focus more on transportation.

We are requesting support on behalf of a 43-year-old grandmother who has become the primary caregiver for her 6-month-old grandson and 2.5-year-old granddaughter. The children were unexpectedly left in her care by her teen daughter, and she has not received any outside support or resources to help meet their basic needs.

This kinship caregiver is doing her best to provide stability and safety for the children, but she is in urgent need of the following essential items:

Double Stroller: Suitable for both an infant and toddler, to safely transport both children to medical appointments, grocery trips, and daily outings.

Clothing for 6-month-old boy: Sizes 6–9 months (onesies, sleepers, shorts, pants, socks, etc.)

Clothing for 2.5-year-old girl: Sizes 5T–6 (tops, bottoms, pajamas, socks, etc.)

Shoes for toddler girl: Size 8 (toddler)

Any assistance from the community to help meet these needs would be deeply appreciated. Your support will help this caregiver continue providing for these young children in a safe and nurturing environment.

We have a family needing assistance with rent the total $268 a week. The family is needing assistance for two weeks totaling $536. There are 3 children in care ages 4,6,10 needing assistance with clothing items female 5T Likes: toys to ride on, musical toys , male 6T Likes remote control cars, and male 7T Likes: cars, remote control cars, Legos. The male 10 year old has renal failure and the parents are trying there best make ends meet. The parents should be able to maintain rent the remainder of the month. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I have a family of 5 who have been through a lot this year. They are working all of their services. Currently they are not able to afford new beds for their two boys 13- and 16-year-old. It would be a great blessing if they are able to get beds for the boys so they can sleep comfortably. Thank you

Hello, I am submitting a request to help an 18-year-old youth who recently aged out of foster care. He is currently attending a university in San Antonio, in a Supervised Independent Living placement (SIL) College dorm. This is a new location for him as his home previously has been in Houston. This is his first home that he has lived independently after living in foster homes. The youth is currently struggling with purchasing groceries. He would also greatly benefit from a bicycle to help him get to classes and to help him run errands. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Child 3-year-old male was placed in home recently with caregiver grandmother. Grandmother is on very limited/fixed income and unable to afford to buy bed/dresser for child. Child is thriving and doing well in placement with his grandmother. Child loves to play with dinosaurs. Child loves coloring and enjoys going to the park in neighborhood grandmother resides in. Any assistance can provide the grandmother with would be greatly appreciated.

The two children are being placed in a kinship home and the family is in need of 2 twin beds for the 2 girls who are 2 and 3 years old. The beds will provide each child with their own safe place to sleep.

Household composition consists of a single mother with 4 children reported to struggle with autism. During the school year the children contracted lice and have exhausted over the counter remedies and pediatric prescription lice treatment. Mother is struggling to make ends meet to be able to afford having the children treated professionally at a lice clinic.

Grandparents are currently caring for 6 children in their home. They are in the process of adopting 3 of them however they are need of assistance with fans for the upcoming summer months. We all know the summer in San Antonio gets pretty brutal and they live in a older home that may not be able to keep up with the heat. 3-4 fans spread out in the home would be helpful for this family.

This set of grandparents could use the community's assistance with a washer and dryer. Their washer and drier gave out unexpectedly and they just received placement of their grandson. Thank you in advance for being a blessing to a kinship family in need.

Household is single mother with 2 children - 4yo F and 2y F and a safety plan monitor. Mother just lost her job, and is actively looking for new employment. Mother currently does not have transportation, and was unable to use Lyft or Uber due to not having car seats.

Carseats are being provided to the family, but due to the mother not having a job, she is behind on rent. Rent Cost as of right now with late fee’s is $213.40 (may increase if the apartment complex adds another late fee). Electricity is also behind at $240.78. The mother will reach out to CPS Energy to make payment plans, but would to be caught up on both payments, if possible.
