I am currently working with a youth, who is getting ready to transition out of a secure residential facility and is in need of clothing and other items. Unfortunately, the family does not have the financial resources to get the youth clothes and other items the youth will need. We would greatly appreciate if someone is able to donate clothing, Size Womans Large, Size Womans 14 pants.

Child placed with Relative Resource under MCDHS Supervision, is attending their first ever prom Saturday 5/17. Child is in need of a Tux and shoes to attend.

The family's resources are very limited. The children are home with their mother. These items will allow the children's clothes to be clean and dry for school. The furnishings will allow the family to feel more like other families. Thank you!

Caroline had a fire in her home few weeks ago, and was not able to recover much of her apartment. She has relocated to a new place, but she is in need of basic furniture for safety of children and comfort.

The biological mother requires a stroller-car seat, a walker, a baby gate, and various toys to support the developmental growth of her seven-month-old child, who has overnight visits. She is responsible for taking her child to appointments and primarily relies on public transportation; occasionally, she has access to a ride but lacks a car seat for safe transport. As the baby begins to crawl, a baby gate is necessary to restrict access to unsafe areas within the home. With these items, the biological mother will be able to ensure her child is safely transported and prevented from crawling in hazardous areas of the house.

I have a family that is need of a twin bed for a 16-year-old teenage girl. The child is placed with her father and grandmother; however, the family has limited income and is unable to purchase a suitable bed. The teen is currently sleeping on a deflected air mattress that keeps deflating. This disrupts the teen sleep and prevents her from getting the proper sleep that she needs. When this need is met, this can benefit the youth at school and at home. Please consider this request, it will be greatly appreciated by the family.

Hello, I have a single mom of 6 children. This family just obtained permanent housing, however, they are in need of beds for the 6 children.

Child was reunified with his biological father after many years of being apart. Due to this fact, child is now in the care of father/family and is in need of assistance with payment for medical bills until child's new insurance is able to begin. Child and father are cooperating and grateful for any and all assistance as they are trying to begin their new life together.

I am working with a mother and father who have three children (ages 5, 3, and 1). The 5 y/o is diagnosed with autism and the 3 y/o may have developmental delays. The family lives near a busy street with heavy traffic, and the children have a habit of eloping. The family would benefit from having child safety locks on the front door and rear sliding door of the home in order to prevent the children from eloping from the home. The family would also benefit from door alarms to notify the parents if the children are attempting to leave the home.
