This child is currently placed with his father. The child is currently sleeping on the couch and is in need for a bunk bed due to limited space in the apartment with another child and this will help to preserve the placement with the father.

The caregiver and her husband are in the process of adopting their granddaughter and are in need of extra assistance for her. The toddler was born substance exposed and has a lot of energy that the caregivers are trying to manage. The caregiver recently had surgery, which limits her mobility while she is recovering. The caregivers are committed to caring for their grandchild and want her to have the best opportunities for growth and development. The caregivers are requesting assistance obtaining a 6-1 toddler playset with slide so the toddler can start safely playing outside with the supervision of the caregivers. The toddler would benefit from outside play and improve her development with this playset. A single mother of two young children has just moved into a new home, taking a significant step toward stability and a fresh start. While the roof over their heads brings much-needed security, the family is still in need of basic household essentials to truly make the space a home where the children can feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.

The mother is seeking support with items such as a dinette table and four chairs, a couch, pots and pans, a microwave, hangers, a toaster, a coffee maker, and bedding (twin and full-size sheets). These everyday essentials will help create a warm, functional environment where her children can eat meals together, sleep peacefully, and begin to thrive in their new surroundings.

I am currently working with a grandmother who already had custody of three of her grandchildren. The grandmother recently took in the children's new born sibling as well. The caregiver is facing financial hardship and is struggling to afford essential items for the baby. She now cares for a 2 yr old, 1 yr old and a new born. A double stroller would significantly help her manage daily outings with the children. She is also in need of diapers and wipes. Providing these items would greatly support and help stabilize this placement.

The children have been involved with the department since the end of 2024. The children were initially placed in foster care while the department completed the home study for the caregiver. The caregiver has not started receiving funding and is working multiple jobs to meet the needs of the children. This is a big adjustment for the caregiver who has not had children in her home in quite some time and for the children who verbalize that they miss their mother often. The caregiver is active towards providing stability for the children in addition to supporting their familial connections. The caregiver has already explored some community resources to assist with electric assistance, however resources are limited. The caregiver needs electric bill payment assistance in the amount of $603.43.

When the request is met, the caregiver will be able to continue providing for the children’s basic needs.

She is actively working to build a better future for her family by pursuing her GED and searching for steady employment. Recently, she has faced unexpected school-related expenses for her oldest child entering middle school, adding to an already tight budget. A gas card would significantly ease her transportation costs, making it easier for her to attend job interviews, classes, and appointments—all of which are essential steps toward financial stability. This support would allow her to better provide for her children’s daily needs and education. Any assistance will directly impact the well-being of this family and help this mother move closer to self-sufficiency. Your kindness is deeply appreciated.

A single mother of one child was recently evicted and is currently facing housing instability. She is actively working with CareerSource to pursue employment and educational opportunities. In order to secure stable income and support her child’s well-being, she is requesting assistance with a bus pass to attend job interviews and, eventually, get to work.

The caregiver received custody of her two teenage grandchildren after their mother passed away in July of 2024, and their father is unable to care for them at this time. The caregiver described that she is working diligently to ensure that the children can adjust to this change and have a stable home environment. The caregiver indicated that she needs twin bunk beds for her grandchildren. The caregiver reported that at this time, she is currently experiencing financial hardship despite having employment.

We have a beautiful, sweet 14 year old girl that is non verbal autistic. Her tablet is her world, but she is in need of a new one. Without her tablet she is lost. We are looking for help to get her a new tablet. One that comes in a strong, protective case, similar to what you would get for a toddler. She likes the color blue if possible.

This 4 month old boy has been placed in the care of his grandfather. The grandfather has requested help to get the child a Sit Me Up Interactive Supportive Baby Seat so that he can more fully engage and interact with the child.
