Help Remove an Educational Barrier for a Child

I have two girls (10 and 9) on my caseload, their mom has severe mental health issues, and their dad is incarcerated, and they are being raised by their grandparents who struggle financially. The grandparents are doing the best they can for the girls but they need help getting the girls tablets so they can continue to engage in counseling online, play games and interact with their friends.

Both girls would like a tablet so i am asking for two but one will be good- they share everything so i think it will all be okay if we only receive one.

Help Improve a Child's Safety/Wellbeing

Child is having a tough time finding safe, healthy ways to express difficult emotions. To better support kiddo and their sister, their caregiver has chosen not to work this summer—prioritizing supervision, structure, and emotional support during this critical time.

One opportunity that could make a big difference is flag football. It's not just a sport—it’s a chance for the child to build confidence, learn teamwork, and have a positive outlet for her energy and emotions.

The caregiver paid $184 out of pocket on June 6, 2025, to enroll the kiddo in the program. We're asking for help to reimburse that amount so the family can continue putting their limited stipend toward essentials—especially food, which is currently their biggest expense.

Any support is deeply appreciated and will have a meaningful impact on this family’s summer.

Help Improve a Child's Safety/Wellbeing

This mom recently left her abusive partner. She is rebuilding her life with the help of her family members, but money is very tight right now. Her young son has autism and is non-verbal, and right now they are struggling with safe driving. Kiddo will unbuckle himself when driving in the car but is too big for a generic car seat. Mom is looking for a "special needs" car seat, but they are very expensive, and she can't currently afford one. Right now, she has to pull the car over every few minutes to re-buckle him into his seat on their way to school which takes time and is dangerous. It would greatly relieve a very specific stress while mom works to find supportive housing and re-settles into her new life. Below are links of car seats that would work for this family. Help Preserve a Kinship Placement

A two year old child was placed with a family friend. They are doing everything they can to meet this child's needs but could really use some help obtaining a toddler bed for her. They are currently utilizing a pack and play which isn't really big enough for the child to sleep comfortably.

Help Improve a Child's Safety/Wellbeing

Father and his partner are taking care of his high-needs son fulltime. The nine-year-old has autism and a 2nd tier learning disability, ADHD, and had craniosynostosis as a baby, which required surgery at eight months old. His school reports that he has excelled since transferring at the start of the last school year (his previous school had informed them that he was non-verbal, which turned out to not be the case). It was reported that he loves being at school, and he has made a lot of progress academically. It was also reported that he often comes to school in the same or unwashed clothes. His father is trying to make that easier for his child to improve his experience at school, but it is difficult without a washer and dryer hooked up in their apartment. Father does not drive and is currently between jobs, so getting laundry completed can be a struggle. Father has stated that he does not need new appliances.

Help Improve a Child's Wellbeing

I am working with a family who has an extremely high need 11-year-old who is a recent victim of sexual abuse. Typically, siblings or family would be able to watch the child during the summertime but for safety reasons they are now unable to do so. The adults are both working at this time and are unable to care for the child during the day and now are looking to send him to a summer camp. However, the daycare/summer camp that can care appropriately meet his needs for his behaviors costs $220 a week and is too much of a financial burden for this family, even with both adults working. I am hoping that some individuals would perhaps be willing to help this family cover the cost of a week of the summer camp to reduce the financial stress this situation is putting on the family and so both adults are able to keep their current employment.

Help Strengthen a Bio Family

A single mother and her two children recently moved into their first apartment alone. Her children are 9 and 2. The nine-year-old has significant mental health needs and has a seizure disorder. His sister is in need of a bed frame and only has a mattress currently. The mother is requesting a dining table for their kitchen, a toddler size bed frame, two dressers for the children's clothes, and any seating options. There are significant financial barriers due to unemployment and the family does not have transportation.

Help Improve a Child's Safety/Wellbeing

The child in this family is back home with her mother. The mother is very young and has never had a license or a car. This mother recently got a housing voucher and moved to the Longmont area. This mother and child are in an apartment building that is very far from everything. This mother is requesting a bicycle and a trailer for the child as well as a helmet for both of them if possible. The child is approximately 18 months old and is female. This request will help this mother be able to get her child to daycare in a more timely fashion and be able to look for a job as well.

Support an Expecting Mom and Her Unborn Baby

A young couple is seeking important baby items as they prepare for the birth of their second child this summer. They are newly settled in the state, and most of their family and support live outside of the country. Though they are excited for this next season with their growing family, they are struggling to collect larger baby items. This mom is not working currently as she stays home with their two-year-old son, and her husband is their primary source of income. She has been very intentional in establishing her regular doctor’s care through this pregnancy and is also actively exploring what supports are available for their growing family. We would love to help to set them up before the birth of their child, so that they can confidently focus on the immediate needs of their two young children. They specifically need a car seat and stroller combination as well as a bassinet. These items would afford them the peace of mind of knowing they can leave the hospital after birth and set their little one up with a comfortable space at home. Thank you so much for coming alongside this family and generously sharing God’s care with them through this tangible provision! Help Support a Youth Aging Out

They are a 18 year old who will be moving into their own apartment since being in foster care. They do not have a lot of stuff to take with them. They will need help with furniture and bedding and just furnishing their apartment in general. They are extremely responsible and have saved up a lot by working two jobs but could use the assistance as we all know starting out in a new apartment is extremely expensive.
