Our foster family of 7 with a baby on the way is in need of a meal train the week their baby is born (due date is May 3rd). We're hoping to have 5+ people sign up to each bring a large meal (10 servings) the week the baby is born. This will make a tremendous difference for this family as they transition into life with a newborn.

The family consist of two children ages 5 (male) and 2 years old (male). Due to mom being a domestic violence relationship, mom had to relocate temporarily to a family members home. She currently works 2 jobs to support her children. The mother does not have a car & the family member's home is even further away from the mother's full-time job. Mom was recently approved for an apartment for her and the children. Mom was able to come up with the deposit for the apartment ($2,200.00), but she is in need of assistance with the full first month's rent ($2,100.00) by the 7th of this month. Although mom is working, she is now the only source of income and provider for her family. She is starting over. Assistance with the full rent will help alleviate the stress not being able to move into their new home. Mom just passed her test this week as a Certified Pharmacy Technician that she is extremely proud of.

This request is being made on behalf of a 11-year-old boy and 5-year-old girl who's seeking assistance with bedding essentials. They are needing small twin size beds for kids. The 11-year-old is a boy and 5-year-old is a girl. They both would also need the bedding sets for the small twin beds. This request will allow the children to be able to stay with familiar people they know. Despite the challenges with their behaviors, being with family/friend could possibly help them to be able to cope with the triggers and behaviors.

These funds are needed to treat bedbugs in the home. Mom is not able to visit the children for family time until the bedbug situation is solved. The department has paid half of the bill but is needing additional funding for the rest of this bill as exterminators are very expensive.

The home consists of a mother and her three children. The father was court ordered to leave the home and the mother is currently working full time and raising three young children all under the age of 10 on her own. The family is in need of an extra bed and a comforter.

Family consists of mom, dad, and infant who are currently living in car as they don't have the finances to stay in a motel or obtain their own housing at this time due to some things that has happened with their extended family and having nowhere else to go. The parents have made efforts to improve their lives and have reached out to others to try to get help finding housing but have yet to be successful. The parents are not using any substances, have a good outlook on love, positive about working to get their lives will get better for their baby and themselves. The dad is unemployed at this time, but he is doing some door dashing to help but he is only making enough to barely make his car payment and have not been able to save to get housing. The mom is on unpaid maternity leave but plans to go back to work as soon as she can. The parents have a loving nature towards each other and their baby. This family is in need of housing or temporary housing (motel, etc) desperately. Even though poverty is not child abuse or neglect, there are concerns about the infant having to sleep in a car seat and mom not being able to rest like she should after having a baby. The parents are open to help if this could be obtained. Thank you.

A father has recently gotten housing and needs items for him and his son to be comfortable in their home. A few items are listed but the apartment needs all the basics for living. Financial assistance is also welcome to help purchase needed items.

A couple in our church community are expecting their first baby in a few weeks. The mom-to-be would greatly appreciate if someone could come to their home and put together a dresser while her husband is away at basic training. They are located in Cary.

Hello, I am wondering if you can donate a food gift card to our family of 5. Yes we do go to local food banks frequently however my wife just recently went through a very traumatic pregnancy and our son arrived 6 weeks early and spent 5 in the NICU and we were driving 40 miles to and from the hospital.
