The client currently resides with her mother-in-law, her boyfriend, and their 5-month-old baby. She has been struggling with depression and recently underwent a surgical procedure, which has left her feeling isolated at home. She misses spending time with her mother and sister, who live just 20 minutes away by walking, but struggles to visit them due to a lack of transportation for her and the baby. The client believes that a stroller would help her regain the ability to visit her family more frequently, which would benefit her emotional well-being and strengthen family connections. In addition to the stroller, the client also requires bus passes for more mobility, as public transportation is her primary means of getting around. Furthermore, the client is in need of groceries, as they are also facing financial hardship. Her baby is also in need of clothes. Client's current needs as follows: baby stroller; bus passes for about 2 months, groceries, and clothes for the baby (using 8-9 month old). *****NOTE: “This request is being submitted by Center for Family Services of Palm Beach County on behalf of the client. The caregiver is currently caring for three children including his biological son as well as his son’s two siblings from different fathers. During the last hurricane, the caregiver lost his job and vehicle due to having to stay home from work to care for the children who were out of school. The caregiver is currently unemployed and is struggling to find employment with no transportation. He and the three children are currently living in an RV which is in the process of being repossessed. The caregiver has a job offer in Alabama where his mother lives. He and the kids need to pack all of their belongings and move to Alabama as they only have 5 business days until they will be without a home. The family is in need of $600 for moving expenses.

The 15 year old teen boy is currently living with his great-aunt. He is a shy and kind boy who is always so excited when he gets to visit with his young siblings. He enjoys being on the football team and is currently practicing for basketball for next year. He has had issues with aggression and angry outbursts in the past and he has worked very hard to have no issues so far this whole school year. He has asked for a piano (electric and either mid-sized or full size) and a guitar. He would be happy with used or new items. The piano was his first choice but he would like both items if possible. I believe these items will help him continue to work on his anger and give him a creative outlet for his emotions. Thank you for your consideration of this request!

A local family of four—three children and their mother—has been through an incredibly difficult journey over the past few months. Due to a devastating fire that started in their daughter’s room, they were displaced from their home. While they are grateful that no one was harmed, they have faced the hardships of living in hotels and with friends as they worked to rebuild their lives.

Today, they are finally back in their home, but they are still rebuilding. The daughter's room, which was most affected by the fire, is in need of a twin bed, comforter and sheets to create a safe and comfortable space of her own. She has also expressed a desire for a TV, if anyone has one to donate.

This is a family of 4 (3 kids, and one adult). They have been approved for housing in St. Paul, with a housing voucher, but need the remaining security deposit. They have tried several other avenues (Ramsey County Emergency assistance, and other organizations) to help financially, but have not found success. As of last night, their lease on their old apartment ended, and they can't move into their new place without the security deposit. So the family will no longer be housed until they are able to produce this money.

A father has recently gotten housing and needs items for him and his son to be comfortable in their home. A few items are listed but the apartment needs all the basics for living. Financial assistance is also welcome to help purchase needed items.

A couple in our church community are expecting their first baby in a few weeks. The mom-to-be would greatly appreciate if someone could come to their home and put together a dresser while her husband is away at basic training. They are located in Cary.

Hello, I am wondering if you can donate a food gift card to our family of 5. Yes we do go to local food banks frequently however my wife just recently went through a very traumatic pregnancy and our son arrived 6 weeks early and spent 5 in the NICU and we were driving 40 miles to and from the hospital. We have a foster family of 7 with a baby due on May 3rd who is in need of help deep cleaning their home. They have a house full of teenage boys who do a good job on chores BUT they are teenage boys after all... These parents would love if an individual or group would be interested in doing a super deep clean so they can have a healthy, clean home for their baby's arrival. The weekend of April 26-27th would be ideal.
