Victim of Domestic violence - A single mother of two girls (one high school and one in elementary) has a shut off notice on her electric bill currently and is unable to pay the bill due to children's father getting into her bank account last Friday and taking her money out without her knowing. This mother is working as much over time as possible and has had employment for several years. A police report was made regarding the money stolen. Any amount would help as this electric bill is extremely high. Thank you.

This is a family of 7 (a mother, three teenagers ranging from 14 to 17, a twelve-year-old, and two toddlers). The toddlers, who are also the mother's grandchildren, were recently added to the family because the biological parents could no longer care for them due to incarceration. The twelve-year-old, who was recently released from the hospital after a stay of several weeks, was diagnosed with Crohn's disease. She is now on a very restricted diet which has significantly impacted the family's overall grocery expenses. The mother is unemployed at the moment, and although she does receive some assistance, she is having a difficult time providing for all of the children's essential needs. At this time the family is in need of 1 twin over twin bed frame with mattress and bedding, 1 toddler bed with mattress and bedding, a potty chair, pull-ups for the toddlers (4T & 5T), transition underwear for both toddlers, laundry detergent, and a blender (for the child with Crohn's disease who has to have her food blended).

The mother is a single parent of three children living on a fixed income. The 3 month old little boy does not have his own sleeping arrangement, and the mother cannot afford one. A pack n play is being requested to provide this child a safe sleeping arrangement.

I have a family of 5 of immediate need of food supply. They are utilizing their Food Stamps, as well as the Food Bank already, and still coming up short for the month. Only 1 parent is working at this time, which they recently switched jobs to earn more hours/get more money. The other parent works odd jobs, however hasn't been able to due to health problems. Any assistance for this family is greatly appreciated!

Good morning, I have a family who is struggling financially. The family consists of the custodian and two children, a 15 year old male and an 11 year old female. The children are currently needing clothing and shoes. The children are bigger than average size for their age. The 15 year old male sizes are 38-40 in pants/ shorts, XL in joggers/ sweats, XL in shirts and a 12/12.5 in shoes. The 11 year old female sizes are 16/18 women in pants/shorts, XL in leggings, XL in shirts, and 10/10.5 in shoes.

After surviving abuse and escaping her trafficker, this survivor has a chance to start a new life. Nine years ago, she became homeless after losing her job and being evicted with her young son. With nowhere stable to go, she sent her son to stay with a friend temporarily. During this vulnerable time, she fell into the hands of a trafficker. That same friend later convinced her to sign over guardianship of her child, which became permanent. After suffering a brutal assault at the hands of her trafficker, she was determined to break away and rebuild her life. Despite her securing employment, the cost of child support and housing costs, made reuniting with her son difficult. She entered the Orange County Rescue Mission, completed court-ordered therapy, parenting classes, and drug testing, earned her GED, and enrolled in college, all while fighting for custody for her son. Today, she has been approved for Section 8 housing and finally has a safe, stable apartment. However, before she can move in and receive custody of her son, she needs a few essential items: a refrigerator and a mattress. There is a single foster mom who has had placement of a 14 year old hispanic child for almost 1 year now. She has her 15th birthday coming up, and foster mom is wanting to throw her a Quinceañera! She is working alongside other community partners, but wants to get her foster daughter the dress of her dreams and for her to get to have everything she wants at this party. We have a elderly member that has moved to Tulsa from another state. She was living with family that is also elderly and disabled. She has moved into an apartment with no furniture or supplies. We are working to assist her with getting a bed/bedding, sofa/chair, table & chairs, dishes. She is in need of items for the bathroom (towels, shower curtain, soaps). The apartment is totally unfurnished and any assistance you can provide will be a blessing to this senior member. Thank you for your assistance.

This need is for a family who has graduated from DHS. We have assisted this family about a year ago. The mother’s snap benefits were stolen and used in Pennsylvania. While she is waiting for assistance, she could use our help feeding her family (mom, dad, adult son, and baby who is 14 months old). Baby is eating finger foods and family can use items like canned goods, meat, etc.

A local mother passed away recently, and friends have taken in 4 of the seven children in the family. They are aged 6 months to 10 years old. There are many needs! The Biological dad is working to be able to have his children back in the home. In the meantime, the families are really struggling.
The young baby needs Formula—Similac Sensitive. The family has not yet been approved for any help for the children. This family already has several kids of its own and needs assistance with diapers. The older kids need clothing and a few other things. One of the older girls needs clothing in size 7/8 and size 13 kids' shoes. They also need size 5/6 pajamas and twin bed sheets.
