A mother of four kids (kids are in foster care) is in need of transportation from the bus depot in St. Louis, 430 S. 15th St. St Louis, to her psychological evaluation appointment at Family Life Counseling 4142 Keaton Crossing Blvd, O'Fallon MO. her appointment will be at 9am on 6/13/25. The mother will be arriving from Oklahoma by bus. Mother will be charged a cancellation fee if she cancels her appointment at this late date. We are in need of an Uber or Lyft credit so she can make her appointment.

An 11-year-old male child is in urgent need of clothing support. He was recently placed in the care of a family member due to safety concerns and arrived without essential clothing. The child wears a size medium shirt, size 10 pants or shorts, size 2 sandals and/or sneakers, and is also in need of a spring jacket. Providing these items will ensure the child is appropriately dressed for school and daily activities, supporting his comfort, dignity, and stability as he adjusts to this new living situation. Hey CarePortal Friends, we have another family that needs our help. Mom had to move with 4 children due to Domestic Violence. Before leaving the residence she contacted Evergy to turn the electric off. The family has since relocated to a safer environment where they cannot get the lights on at their new location. This is because Evergy never turned off the electric at the old location and the new balance was forwarded to her in the amount of $1300. We are asking for help to pay this amount so that the new location can have electricity and everyone can feel safe.

A loving grandmother has opened her home to her 8-year-old grandchild, who was attached by a dog in March while in the care of their bio father. Grandchild lost their left eye as a result of the attack and grandmother has been setting her priorities on the care of her grandchild getting them to and from appointments with hospitals, specialist and any other treatment the grandchild needs. However, this is impacting her work schedule with her full-time job. Grandmother has gone out to get a part-time job to help cover some expenses as it is more flexible but still isn't enough. Grandmother is needing assistance with their utilities to keep them from getting shut off.

Kids are being moved from non-kinship foster home to Maternal Grandparents home. Maternal grandparents are struggling financially although they are providing the kids a safe and stable home. While they currently are providing basic needs for the kids, they were able to secure bunk beds for 6 yo twin siblings but are needing a twin bed frame and box spring (they already have a mattress being donated) for pre-teen male kid to prevent the child from sleeping on the floor for an extended time frame.

A young family of 2 children ages 1 and 7 years old are requesting a dryer as they moved into a house from an apartment. The couple have been here from Venezuela for about 2.5 years and help out at Centro Cristiano a Las Naciones with leading music. They moved from an apartment which had a washer and dryer and now they need to provide for their own. The father is looking for work and does odd jobs to help pay for rent, bills, food, clothing, etc. A dryer will help mom take care of her kids so that they will be able to attend school and help their hygiene. A single mother of 5 children missed quite some time from work due to unforeseen behavior issues with her 7-year-old son, who has since been diagnosed with ADHD and ODD. Due to these conditions, her son was not able to stay in school full days and she had to stop working for seven months until she was able to get him approved through his insurance for an in school one-on-one counselor, a smaller classroom setting and also a 504/IEP plan. Now that he has those, she has been able to get another job but won’t get paid until June 30th. She has fallen behind on her rent and several other bills. I am requesting help with the following bills: rent for May $833, she has worked out a payment plan with her landlord for the remaining balance if she can get May’s rent paid; light bill $274 and that is with an approval for cooling assistance from social services which starts on 6/15, her disconnect is for 6/16; water bill $54.37 which also has a disconnect for 6/16. I am also requesting assistance with food and gas money. Mom reached out to her social worker about all these requests, but worker was not able to process her snap application in time for her to receive benefits for June, so she won’t receive any snap benefits until July 4. She also needs money for gas to get to her job.

A elderly lady within our church community is in need of furniture for her apartment. She has been living in the senior living apartments for over 2 months and does not have what’s needed to make her home a comfortable living environment. She has a bed and a tv. She is in need of towels, linen for her bed, kitchen towels, dishes, sofa, table and chairs, Anything you can do to assist her would be greatly appreciated.

We have a single mom in our church who is working hard to care for her two little girls. She’s doing her best but has recently fallen behind on bills and could use help getting back on her feet.
