We are working with an 18 year old young lady and her 3 siblings. Their mom passed away tragically a few months ago and she is now pregnant. She needs everything for a baby girl that could be born at any time due to medical issues. The youngest sibling is also 13 years old and needs summer clothes. Both girls could benefit greatly from new clothes. The siblings are trying hard to stay together and would be so blessed from help for their family.

We are currently assisting a family in urgent need: a 17-year-old young man and his mother, who are relocating to a new borough due to ongoing safety concerns in their previous neighborhood. This move was not planned but became necessary to protect their well-being and provide a safer environment for the son as he continues his education and personal development. He is scheduled to graduate in August 2025. The family has recently secured a new apartment; however, they are moving in with no furniture or household essentials. At this time, they are in immediate need of basic items such as beds, a table and chairs, a sofa, kitchenware, and food. The mother has expressed that they are starting over entirely and have very limited financial resources. She is doing her best to provide stability for her son but has no extended family or support system to rely on.

We are reaching out to the community and local organizations to ask for any support—whether through donated items, gift cards, or connections to local resources. Even the smallest contribution can make a meaningful difference for this family as they rebuild their lives.

One of the daughters does not have a dresser, and the family is also in need of three mattresses for the children. These items are critical to helping the family maintain a safe, organized, and dignified living environment. The mother has a scheduled appointment with the Human Resources Administration (HRA) in an effort to secure further support. In the meantime, we are seeking immediate assistance with the following: -One dresser for the daughter -Three mattresses for the children Providing these basic necessities would significantly reduce the stress this family is experiencing and greatly contribute to their well-being and sense of security. Single mother of 5, currently unemployed due to multiple surgeries including her hand, is behind in rent. A family that was recently immigrated from Venezuela to New York was placed in temporary housing in Queens. We first connected with them through a community outreach event and have continued to support them since then. They have two children - one is seven and the other is two years old. They were recently moved into an apartment, but they don't have the resources to furnish it. Right now, they're in need of beds and basic bedding. Most of their income goes towards food, so helping them with these items will go a long way as they work to get settled. Both parents are employed, and we want to come alongside them during this time of transition.

He has been very physical with the mother causing black eyes, broken ribs, and a brain hemorrhage. He has threatened to kill her. The mother finally got the courage to report her husband and there is a warrant for his arrest. The children have not been physically harmed but are emotionally damaged. During the last incident where the mother was knocked unconscious, the father broke the windshield of a neighbor's car in a jealous rage, and the neighbor is asking for restoration. The family needs support to pay this bill and to help with having their locks changed. Gift cards for food to help curtail expenses since the father's contribution to the family's expenses cannot be relied upon.
